At the heart of Dry Creek Barn is a deep commitment to horse welfare. The Dry Creek Barn Foundation was established to rescue, rehabilitate, care and rehome horses in need.  Our mission goes beyond simply saving horses—we provide them with lifelong care in a loving, supportive environment. Most of our rescue horses remain in our care, adopted through contributions that cover their needs, including medical treatment, food, shelter, and enrichment.

Inspired by Jan’s lifelong passion for horses and a hands-on approach to horse care, that drives the foundation’s ongoing efforts, the Foundation ensures that each horse receives personalized attention and care. Whether it’s a horse recovering from neglect or one with special long-term needs, our commitment is to give them a safe, nurturing home where they can thrive.
